DIAMOND BEACH

For the Icona Diamond Beach project, the design team was tasked to do a complete renovation of 80,000 square feet of existing motel space. This included 5 floors across 2 separate towers. The wholesale renovations included a newly designed lobby, elegant guest suites with a cooktop and dishwasher, the Coastal Blue Bar, Star Beach Bar, conference centers and banquet facilities. The outdated '70s interior was updated to meet ICONA's trademark modern coastal chic decor.

 

Beginning the construction process around Thanksgiving, the team not only met the client's aesthetic needs, but also completed construction by the Memorial Day deadline to ensure an exciting grand opening and successful summer season. ICONA Diamond Beach is another pride and joy project in the personal portfolio of Steve Tomassetti, AEON's founder and principal architect.
